Digireg Kenya Limited conducted the survey, planning, and regularization of Lake Amu Trading Centre in Lamu County with the aim of developing a comprehensive local physical and land-use development plan. The project involved conducting detailed land surveys using advanced survey technologies such as GNSS and GIS to map important features in the area including infrastructure, land boundaries, and natural resources. This data formed the basis for a sustainable development plan structured to meet the specific needs of the community while accommodating future growth.
The completed land-use development plan provides Lamu County with a clear roadmap for urban development, guiding the allocation of resources and prioritization of infrastructure projects.
